Who we are
ROWMONITOR (rowmonitor.com) is a product of EKLAVYAI. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have. Support and privacy questions go to info@rowmonitor.com. Our postal address is [POSTAL ADDRESS].
The service watches data-quality signals in a warehouse you connect. It compares a baseline of structure, row count, and freshness. It does not copy the rows in your tables.
What we collect
Account data. Name, email address, a hashed password, workspace name, plan, role, and alert settings.
Billing data. The plan you choose and the billing records our payment processor sends us, such as a customer reference and whether a payment succeeded. Card details are handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor and never stored by us.
Warehouse connection metadata and the query results needed to run checks. The host, database name, username, and an encrypted copy of the password you provide, plus the schemas, tables, and columns you choose to watch, row counts, and freshness. We do not store the other values in your rows.
Usage data. How you use the site and the product, such as pages viewed and actions you take, so we can operate and secure the service.
Cookies. The cookies described below.
If you sign in with an identity provider, we receive the account details that provider shares with us, such as your name and email. If you add a messaging destination for alerts, we store the address you give us so we can send those alerts.
How we use it
- To provide the service, including checks, baselines, alerts, and explanations.
- To create and secure your account and to remember that you are signed in.
- To bill for a paid plan and to handle cancellation and refund requests.
- To measure and improve the site, and to protect the service from abuse.
- To meet legal duties, such as keeping records we are required to keep.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies, we rely on these bases. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you can withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that has already happened.
- Contract: providing the account, the checks, and the alerts you asked for.
- Legitimate interests: securing the service, keeping a check history, and understanding how the site is used.
- Legal obligation: records we must keep, including billing records.
- Consent: where we ask for it, including an optional messaging destination and signing in with an identity provider.
Who processes it
We use service providers to run ROWMONITOR. They process personal information only on our instructions, for the purposes in this policy. We describe them by category:
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure.
- Database hosting.
- Payment processing. Card details are handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor and never stored by us.
- Transactional email delivery.
- DNS and security.
- Analytics, if used.
If you connect a messaging destination, that service receives the alert you asked us to send. If automated explanations are turned on, an artificial-intelligence provider receives the check summary needed to write the explanation, not the contents of your rows.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
A current list of sub-processors is available on request at info@rowmonitor.com.
International transfers
We and our service providers may process personal information in countries other than your own. Those countries may not offer the same level of protection as the country where you live. Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR requires a safeguard, we use an approved transfer mechanism, such as standard contractual clauses (and the UK addendum or the International Data Transfer Agreement, where that law requires it).
Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is open and we need it to provide the service. Check history stays with the workspace. If you ask us to delete the account, we delete the personal information we hold, unless we need to keep a record to meet a legal duty, such as a billing record. The payment processor keeps payment records under its own policy. You can ask for deletion at info@rowmonitor.com.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, encryption of warehouse passwords at rest, and access limited to people who need it to operate the service. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your rights
Australia
The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles apply to personal information we hold about individuals. You can ask for access and correction. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
GDPR and UK GDPR
Where those laws apply, you can ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal information, to receive a portable copy, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can complain to your local supervisory authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
California
We collect the categories described above, including identifiers, commercial information about your plan, and internet activity on the site. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can ask to know, delete, and correct personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for asking.
To use any of these rights, email info@rowmonitor.com from the address on the account.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep you signed in and let the site remember a sign-in in progress. If analytics is used, the analytics provider may use cookies or similar technologies to measure traffic. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may stop you from signing in.
Children
ROWMONITOR is for people running a data warehouse. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to info@rowmonitor.com and ask us to delete it.
Changes
We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. The date shown now is 31 October 2026. The terms explain how contract changes work.
